Need some advice regarding graduation songs please?

So, I am getting ready to graduate from college and we as a class are trying to think of some great songs to play during our ceremony. The problem I am having is that almost everyone wants to have a sappy, let your wings soar, country song. That's not really my cup of tea. Can anyone think of a great song that will appeal to all age groups that isn't a mushy song? I think Green Day's "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) is about as tear-jerking as I would like to go.
